ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਟੀ ਗੈਸ ਡ੍ਰਿਸਟ੍ਰੀਬਿਊਸ਼ਨ (ਸੀਜੀਡੀ-CGD) ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪੱਛਮ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੇ ਅਲੀਪੁਰਦੁਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਜੀਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥੜ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਪੁਰਦੁਆਰ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਛਮ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਨੂੰ ਰੇਖਾਂਕਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਾਤ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਖੇਤਰ ਨਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੀਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਲਕਿ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗਹਿਰੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਭੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਲੀਪੁਰਦੁਆਰ ਦੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਭੂਟਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਅਸਾਮ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਤਰਫ਼ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਤਰਫ਼ ਜਲਪਾਈਗੁਡੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਚ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਗੌਰਵ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਅਭਿੰਨ ਅੰਗ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਏਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੇਖਾਂਕਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਭੂਮੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁਭਾਗ ਵਿਅਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ।There's no semblance of good governance under TMC's rule in Bengal: PM Modi in Jadavpur
