ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਗਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ 12,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਈ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਕਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਗਰੀ ਗਯਾਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂਪਦ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗਯਾਜੀ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ’ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਬੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਗਯਾਜੀ ਦੀ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗਯਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਗਯਾਜੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ’ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਅਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਗਯਾਜੀ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
