The Union Cabinet approved three new corridors - 1. R.K Ashram Marg to Indraprastha (9.913 Kms), 2. Aerocity to IGD Airport T-1 (2.263 kms) 3. Tughlakabad to Kalindi Kunj (3.9 kms) as part of Delhi Metro’s Phase – V(A) project consisting of 16.076 kms which will further enhance connectivity within the national capital. ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ 12,200 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲਾਗਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਈ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਬਾਦ ਆਰਆਰਟੀਐੱਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਊ ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਨਗਰ ਆਰਆਰਟੀਐੱਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੱਕ ਨਮੋ ਭਾਰਤ ਟ੍ਰੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਕਨੈਕਟੀਵਿਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ

ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਕਨੈਕਟੀਵਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ‘ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ 5 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ 12,200 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਈ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼: ਖੇਤਰੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਭ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ

ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ, ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਦੇ ਫੇਜ-IV ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ 26.463 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਲੰਬੇ ਰਿਠਾਲਾ-ਨਰੇਲਾ-ਨਾਥੂਪੁਰ (ਕੁੰਡਲੀ) ਕੌਰੀਡੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਰਾਜ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਏਗਾ। ਇਸ ਕੌਰੀਡੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਤੋਂ 4 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਤੈਅ ਹੈ।
