ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਥਿਤ ਸੰਸਦ ਭਵਨ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਦਨ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਸਪੀਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਜ਼ਾਈਡਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਦੀ 28ਵੀਂ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ (ਸੀਐੱਸਪੀਓਸੀ) ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪੀਕਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਅਨੋਖੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਪੀਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਬਰ ਸਪੀਕਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਆਮ ਗੁਣ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੁਸਕਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।'ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ' ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ: ਮਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ
