ଗତକାଲି, ଦେଶର ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ନଜର ସଂସଦ ଉପରେ ରହିଥିଲା। ଦେଶର ନାରୀ ଶକ୍ତି ଦେଖୁଥିଲା। ମୁଁ ଏହା ଦେଖି ମଧ୍ୟ ବହୁତ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହୋଇଥିଲି ଯେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଏହି ମହିଳା କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ପରାଜିତ ହେଲା, କଂଗ୍ରେସ, ଡିଏମକେ, ଟିଏମସି ଏବଂ ଏସପି ଭଳି ପରିବାରବାଦୀ ଦଳ ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ତାଳି ବଜାଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଟେବୁଲ ବାଡ଼ାଉଥିଲେ, ମହିଳାମାନଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାର ଛଡ଼ାଇ ନେଇଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯାହା କରିଥିଲେ ତାହା କେବଳ ଟେବୁଲ ବାଡ଼େଇବା ନଥିଲା; ଏହା ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମସମ୍ମାନ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱାଭିମାନ ଉପରେ ଆଘାତ ଥିଲା। ମହିଳାମାନେ ସବୁକିଛି ଭୁଲିଗଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ସେମାନେ ନିଜର ଅପମାନକୁ କେବେ ଭୁଲନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ । ତେଣୁ, ସଂସଦରେ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ଏବଂ ଏହାର ସହଯୋଗୀଙ୍କ ଆଚରଣର ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ସର୍ବଦା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟରେ ରହିବ। ଯେତେବେଳେ ସାରା ଦେଶର ମହିଳାମାନେ ଏହି ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିର୍ବାଚନମଣ୍ଡଳୀରେ ଦେଖିବେ, ସେମାନେ ମନେ ରଖିବେ ଯେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ, ଏମାନେ ହିଁ, ସଂସଦରେ ମହିଳା ସଂରକ୍ଷଣକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବାର ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଖୁସି ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ଗତକାଲି ସଂସଦରେ ନାରୀ ଶକ୍ତି ବନ୍ଦନ ସଂଶୋଧନକୁ ବିରୋଧ କରୁଥିବା ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ, ମୁଁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ କହିବି: ଏ ଲୋକମାନେ ନାରୀଶକ୍ତିକୁ ହାଲୁକା ଭାବରେ ନେଉଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନେ ଭୁଲି ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏକବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀର ମହିଳାମାନେ ଦେଶର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଘଟଣା ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖନ୍ତି। ମହିଳାମାନେ ଏମାନଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ବୁଝନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସତ୍ୟକୁ ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ, ମହିଳା ସଂରକ୍ଷଣକୁ ବିରୋଧ କରି ବିରୋଧୀମାନେ କରିଥିବା ପାପ ପାଇଁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହେବେ। ଏହି ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସମ୍ବିଧାନ ପ୍ରଣେତାଙ୍କ ଭାବନାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅପମାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସେମାନେ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ଦଣ୍ଡରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ ନାହିଁ ।
