୨୪ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ ୨୦୨୬: ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ରାଜ୍ୟସଭାରେ ଉଦବୋଧନ ଦେଇ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଏସିଆରେ ଚାଲିଥିବା ସଂଘର୍ଷ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ମତ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ତିନି ସପ୍ତାହରୁ ଅଧିକ ସମୟ ଧରି ଚାଲୁଥିବା ଏହି ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଗଭୀର ବିଶ୍ୱ ଶକ୍ତି ସଙ୍କଟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛି, ଯାହା ଭାରତ ପାଇଁ ଚିନ୍ତାଜନକ ପ୍ରଭାବ ଫେଳାଇଛି। ସେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଏହା ଭାରତର ବାଣିଜ୍ୟ ମାର୍ଗକୁ ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରୁଛି ଏବଂ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲ, ଡିଜେଲ, ଗ୍ୟାସ ଓ ସାର ପରି ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ସାମଗ୍ରୀର ଯୋଗାଣକୁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରୁଛି। ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦ ମିଲିୟନ୍ ଭାରତୀୟ ଉପସାଗରୀୟ ଦେଶଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ବାସ ଓ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ତେଣୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ଜୀବିକା ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଚିନ୍ତାର ବିଷୟ। ସେ ହର୍ମୁଜ୍ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀରେ ଜାହାଜରେ ଫସିଥିବା ଭାରତୀୟ କ୍ରୁ ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଚିନ୍ତା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ। “ଏପରି ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ, ଭାରତୀୟ ସଂସଦର ଏହି ଉଚ୍ଚ ସଦନ ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଓ ଆଲୋଚନା ପାଇଁ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ସ୍ୱର ଉଠାଇବା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ,” ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ।
