ମା’ ନର୍ମଦାର ଏହି ପବିତ୍ର ଭୂମି ଆଜି ପୁଣି ଥରେ ଏକ ଐତିହାସିକ ଘଟଣାର ସାକ୍ଷୀ ହେଉଛି। ଠିକ୍ ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୩୧ ତାରିଖରେ ଆମେ ଏଠାରେ ସର୍ଦ୍ଦାର ପଟେଲଙ୍କ ୧୫୦ତମ ଜୟନ୍ତୀ ପାଳନ କରିଥିଲୁ। ଆମର ଏକତା ଏବଂ ବିବିଧତାକୁ ପାଳନ ପାଇଁ ଭାରତ ପର୍ବ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ଏବଂ ଆଜି, ଭଗବାନ ବିର୍ସା ମୁଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କ ୧୫୦ ତମ ଜୟନ୍ତୀ ପାଳନ କରୁଥିବା ଏହି ଭବ୍ୟ ସମାରୋହ ସହିତ, ଆମେ ଭାରତ ପର୍ବର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତାର ସାକ୍ଷୀ ହୋଇ ରହିଛି । ଏହି ପବିତ୍ର ଅବସରରେ ମୁଁ ଭଗବାନ ବିର୍ସା ମୁଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରୁଛି। ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ସମୟରେ ଗୁଜରାଟ, ରାଜସ୍ଥାନ, ମଧ୍ୟପ୍ରଦେଶ ଏବଂ ସମଗ୍ର ଜନ ଜାତୀୟ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ, ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତାର ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରଜ୍ଵଳିତ କରିଥିବା ଗୋବିନ୍ଦ ଗୁରୁଙ୍କ ଆର୍ଶୀବାଦ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସହ ଯୋଡି ହୋଇଛି। ମୁଁ ଏହି ମଞ୍ଚରୁ ଗୋବିନ୍ଦ ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରୁଛି। କିଛି ସମୟ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମୋତେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେବମୋଗରା ମାତାଙ୍କ ଦର୍ଶନ କରିବାର ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟ ମିଳିଥିଲା। ମୁଁ ମା’ଙ୍କ ଚରଣରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରୁଛି। ଖୁବ ଲୋକ ଜାଣିଥିବେ, କାଶୀ ବିଶ୍ୱନାଥ କରିଡର, ଉଜ୍ଜୈନ ମହାକାଳ କରିଡର, ଅଯୋଧ୍ୟା ରାମ ମନ୍ଦିର, କେଦାରନାଥ ଧାମ ବିଷୟରେ ଆଲୋଚନା ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଗତ ଦଶନ୍ଧି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏଭଳି ଅନେକ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଏବଂ ଐତିହାସିକ ସ୍ଥାନ ବିକଶିତ ହୋଇଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଖୁବ୍ କମ୍ ଲୋକ ଜାଣିଥିବେ ଯେ ୨୦୦୩ ମସିହାରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଭାବରେ ଝିଅମାନଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ରେଲିଆ ପାଟନଙ୍କୁ ଆସିଥିଲି, ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ମା 'ଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଥିଲି ଏବଂ ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଏମିତି ଅବସ୍ଥା ଥିଲା ଯେ ମୁଁ ଦେଖିଥିଲି, କେବଳ ଏକ ଛୋଟ ଝୁମ୍ପୁଡ଼ି ଭଳି ସ୍ଥାନ ଥିଲା। ମୁଁ ଗର୍ବର ସହ କହିପାରିବି ଯେ ମୁଁ ମୋ ଜୀବନରେ କରିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ବିକାଶ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦେବମୋଗରା ମାତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବିକାଶ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସହିତ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏବଂ ଆଜି ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କଲି, ସେତେବେଳେ ମୋତେ ଏହା ଦେଖି ବହୁତ ଖୁସି ଲାଗିଲା ଯେ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲୋକ, ବିଶେଷ କରି ଆମର ଆଦିବାସୀ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ, ଏବେ ମା 'ଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅପାର ଭକ୍ତି ସହିତ ସେଠାକୁ ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି।
