The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the development of a 4-lane corridor from Badnawar to Timarwani worth ₹3,839.42 crore. It will provide connectivity from Ujjain to the Timarwani interchange at the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (DME). This will lower logistics costs, facilitate efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods and strengthen access to industrial hubs and MMLPs.

Addressing a massive public rally in Begusarai, PM Modi stated, On one side, there is the NDA, an alliance with mature leadership, and on the other, there is the 'Maha Lathbandhan'. He highlighted that nearly 90% of purchases in the country are of Swadeshi products, benefiting small businesses. The PM remarked that the NDA has freed Bihar from Naxalism and Maoist terror, and that every vote of the people of Bihar will help build a peaceful, prosperous state.
