PM Modi laid the foundation stone for various development works in Kokrajhar, Assam via video conferencing. He lauded the Bodo community for preserving the Bodo language and culture and reiterated the double-engine government’s commitment to safeguard Assam's heritage. Attacking previous regimes for the violence in the region, he highlighted the Bodo Peace Accord as a landmark achievement and resolved to achieve a ‘Viksit Assam’.

PM Modi will visit Assam on 13-14 March 2026. During the visit, the PM will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, lay foundation stones, perform Bhoomi Poojan and flag off multiple development projects worth more than ₹47,600 crore across Kokrajhar, Guwahati and Silchar. In Guwahati, the PM will distribute land pattas to tea garden workers and will also release the 22nd installment of the PM-KISAN scheme.

ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଗୌହାଟିର ସରୁସଜାଇ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମରେ ବୋଡୋ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟର ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଐତିହ୍ୟକୁ ପାଳନ କରୁଥିବା ଐତିହାସିକ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ 'ବାଗୁରୁମ୍ବା ଡାହୌ'କୁ ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଆସାମର ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଏବଂ ବୋଡୋ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟର ପରମ୍ପରାକୁ ନିକଟରୁ ଦେଖିବା ତାଙ୍କ ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟର ବିଷୟ। କୌଣସି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତାଙ୍କ ପରି ଏତେ ଥର ଆସାମ ଗସ୍ତ କରିନାହାନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରି ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋଦୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଆସାମର କଳା ଏବଂ ସଂସ୍କୃତିକୁ ଏକ ବଡ଼ ମଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ରଦାନ ଏବଂ ମହାନ ଉତ୍ସବ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଦେଶ ଏବଂ ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ମିଳିବା ତାଙ୍କର ନିରନ୍ତର ଇଚ୍ଛା ରହିଆସିଛି। ବୃହତ୍ ବିହୁ ଉତ୍ସବ, ଜୁମୈର ବିନୋଦିନୀ ପ୍ରକାଶନ, ଦେଢ଼ ବର୍ଷ ପୂର୍ବେ ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ମେଗା ବୋଡୋ ମହୋତ୍ସବ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମର ଉଦାହରଣ ଦେଇ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଏ ନେଇ ନିରନ୍ତର ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରାଯାଉଛି। ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ ସେ ଆସାମର କଳା ଏବଂ ସଂସ୍କୃତିର ଅନନ୍ୟ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଅନୁଭବ କରିବାର କୌଣସି ସୁଯୋଗକୁ କେବେ ହାତଛଡ଼ା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ବାଗୁରୁମ୍ବା ମହୋତ୍ସବ ଆୟୋଜନ କରାଯାଉଛି, ଏହାକୁ ବୋଡୋ ପରିଚୟର ଏକ ଚମତ୍କାର ଉତ୍ସବ ଏବଂ ଆସାମର ଐତିହ୍ୟକୁ ଏକ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଭାବରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରାଯାଉଛି। ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋଦୀ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସହିତ ଜଡିତ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ, ବିଶେଷକରି କଳାକାରମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଏବଂ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ।
