The state visit of PM Modi to Malaysia resulted in several key MoUs and agreements covering disaster management, combating corruption, UN peacekeeping, semiconductors, insurance, education, security, health and medicine. At the invitation of Prime Minister of Malaysia, His Excellency, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, His Excellency, Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, undertook an official visit to Malaysia from 7 to 8 February 2026. The visit reflected the deep-rooted friendship and enduring people-to-people ties, based on civilizational connections between the two countries.
