Cabinet approves Scheme for Promotion of Surface Coal/Lignite Gasification Projects with a financial outlay of Rs.37,500 crore

The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi has approved a Scheme for Promotion of Surface Coal/Lignite Gasification Projects with a financial outlay of Rs. 37,500 crore. The scheme strengthens energy security and reduces dependence on imports, while advancing the objectives of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India. ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ରାସ୍ତା, ରେଳ, ବିମାନବନ୍ଦର, ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ଏବଂ କୋଇଲା ଭଳି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଦୀର୍ଘ ସାଢ଼େ 4 ଘଂଟା ଧରି ଚାଲିଥିବା ଏହି ବୈଠକରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ସମେତ ନୀତି ଆୟୋଗ ଏବଂ ଭାରତ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ ।
