Prime Minister meets Chancellor of Germany on the sidelines of G7 Summit

PM Modi met German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Canada, their first meeting since Merz took office in May 2025. Both the leaders agreed to deepen the India-Germany Strategic Partnership, marking 25 years, with focus on trade, defence, green energy, tech, innovation and mobility.
