Cabinet approves three rail projects covering 8 districts across several states

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved three projects of the Ministry of Railways with a total cost of approximately Rs. 9,072 crore, covering eight districts across the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. The projects are planned under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan and will provide seamless connectivity for the movement of people, goods and services.

Addressing a massive rally in Bettiah, PM Modi accused the RJD and Congress of pushing the state’s youth towards crime and ‘rangdari’. Speaking about the GST Bachat Utsav, the PM highlighted that today, essential items carry either zero or minimal GST, making everyday goods much more affordable. Urging the crowd to take out their phones and switch on the flashlight, he said, “This light in your hands shows the path to a Viksit Bihar.”
