PM Modi addressed the Somnath Swabhiman Parv in Somnath, recalling the sacrifices of those who dedicated their lives to the protection and reconstruction of the temple. Emphasising that the festival is not merely a remembrance of the destruction that took place a thousand years ago, the PM said it is a celebration of a thousand-year journey of resilience, as well as of India’s existence and pride.
