"Shri Narendra Modi addresses rallies in in Jehanabad, Arrah and Pataliputra in Bihar "
"I have been told that there has not been such a big rally in Arrah ever and this shows in what direction the wind is blowing: Shri Modi"
"For the Government in Patna and Delhi the farmer and the soldiers do not matter: Shri Modi"
"The reason for your problems is not your handwork but the Government in Delhi. You need to change the Government: Shri Modi to the people of Bihar"
"Lot of things have changed and we can find solutions to problems but these people are not bothered at all: Shri Modi"

The BJP’s emphasis on the development of Bihar and an assurance of a special package for the State was made by Shri Narendra Modi during his rallies in Jehanabad, Arrah and Pataliputra in Bihar on the afternoon of 10th April. Shri Modi shared the Party’s emphasis on inclusive development, which revolved around the progress of its people, irrespective of their caste or class.

From fulfilling the dream of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji of linking the rivers and providing water across the states, to the BJP Manifesto’s inclusion of instituting a fixed approach towards deciding the Minimum Support Price for the farming produce, Shri Modi highlighted the Party’s dedicated efforts at ensuring growth for all. The untapped potential in the state’s tourism sector was also put forth by Shri Modi when he said that with due focus on proper infrastructure, the land of Jehanabad too could attract tourists visiting Gaya.

Speaking on the Congress’ laxity in addressing the issues of national concern, Shri Modi stated how rampant corruption in the present government had rid the poor of receiving the benefits meant for them. He cited the Planning Commission’s recent figures which indicated that for every rupee meant for the poor, an extra Rs. 3.85 had to be spent towards ensuring its reach, and thus the end-user was actually gaining only 12 paise.

Shri Modi spoke of how the neglectful policies of the Congress were hindering the progress of the Bunkar community, instead of giving them growth opportunities, even as he stated how the farmers and soldiers were suffering owing to the feeble policies of the Centre. Shri Modi hit back on the Congress President’s statement of the BJP getting magicians as candidates, and expressed the Nation’s sentiments of not being scared of magicians, but rather of the UPA’s ‘black magic’ that had ruined the Nation of its development potential.

Emphasizing on how change can be brought with the right intentions, Shri Modi said, “Lot of things have changed and we can find solutions to problems but these people are not bothered at all.” He urged the people to vote for the BJP, and affirmed that under BJP, the Nation will witness a new surge in its development journey, and will take on the world under a strong and stable government.

Shri RK Singh and Bihar BJP Chief Shri Mangal Pandey were present during the rally.
