Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi condoled the demise of Shri SN Goenka, the leading light of Vipassana meditation. Sharing his condolences on Twitter on the morning of 30th September 2013, Shri Modi wrote,

 

Later in the day during his visit to Mumbai Shri Narendra Modi met Shri SN Goenka’s family and expressed his condolences on the demise of Shri Goenka.

Tajinder clinches Gold in Men's Shot Put

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated Tajinder Pal Singh Toor for clinching Gold in Men's Shot Put at Asian Games in Hangzhou.
