Narendra Modi meets PM, talks about plight of Indians in Australia

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with a demand to declare the Sardar Sarovar project a national project.

Modi also held deliberations with Singh on the attacks on Indian students in Australia. He later met Australian High Commissioner John McCarthy.

Modi, who had a 30-minute meeting with the Prime Minister at his official residence, discussed several issues related to the state, officials said.

The Chief Minister apprised Singh that Gujarat had made rapid strides in the field of agriculture and has emerged as the top state in the country.

Sikkim Governor meets Prime Minister

The Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur met the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi today.

The Prime Minister’s Office handle posted on X:
