On Saturday 2nd November 2013, Shri Narendra Modi visited various parts of Bihar to pay homage to the people who lost their lives in the unfortunate blasts in Patna on the day of the Hunkaar Rally, which was held on Sunday 27th October 2013. He assured the family members that they are not alone in this hour of grief.
Shri Narendra Modi began the day by travelling to Gaurichak village near Patna to meet the family of late Raj Narain Singh. He consoled the family members of the deceased martyr and asked the family members to be brave.

He went to Kaimur and offered condolences to the family of Shaheed Vikas Singh. He met Shaheed Vikas Singh’s wife and children and expressed his heartfelt condolences.

Due to poor weather, Shri Modi could not visit the families to Shaheed Munna Srivastava and Shaheed Bharat Rajak so he spoke to their families over the telephone.
Speaking to the wife of late Munna Srivastava, Narendra Modi offered his condolences and told her that the sacrifices of her husband will not go in vain. He told her that she is like his daughter and that he will take care of her in the wake of this unfortunate tragedy.

After that Shri Modi spoke to Shaheed Bharat Rajak’s son, Shankar and offered condolences. The people from Bharat Rajak’s village shared an anecdote about Shaheed Bharat Rajak that Shri Modi shared on Twitter. Modi ji said that he was deeply touched to hear about he anecdote.
