"Shri Narendra Modi addresses massive rallies in Assam"
"Someone asked- what do you think about elections. +2%, +few seats is ok for arithmetic point of view but this poll is about BJP's chemistry. In arithmetic 1+1 can be two but our chemistry is such that when 1 and 1 come together it becomes 11: Shri Modi"
"Your Congress leaders have all the time to go to meet Soniaji but not to meet people. Our leaders went to wipe people's tears: Shri Modi in Assam"
"For Congress the life and death of people does not matter. What matters for them is their survival: Shri Modi"
"Why should people of Assam remember those who have forgotten the state and their people: Shri Modi"
"Parties are getting together and their aim is 1- Modi should not come. But why are they so scared

Highlighting how the Congress’ divisive politics had ruined Assam and the Nation, Shri Narendra Modi, in his rallies at Gogamukh, Biswanath Chariali and Sivasagar in Assam on the afternoon of 31st March, urged the people to forget those who had forgotten the State and the Nation, and instead support the BJP for a better future. Heralding that the 2014 elections was not about who wins or loses, Shri Modi stated that in these elections the people actually wanted to punish those who had ruined the Nation.

Speaking on the Congress’ insensitive approach towards the well-being of its people, Shri Modi spoke of how the Congress leaders did not bother to visit and console the families of those killed in a recent incident in an area near Biswanath Chariali. “I heard people were killed in surrounding area but did your CM or any Minister or leader of Congress go there. Your Congress leaders have all the time to go to meet Soniaji but not to meet people. Our leaders went to wipe people's tears. For Congress the life and death of people does not matter. What matters for them is their survival,” said Shri Modi.

He also questioned the Congress over their failure in addressing the grave issues of national importance like price rise and unemployment, as also their inability in tapping the vast natural resources of a land like Assam. “Madam Sonia says Congress fulfils its promises but what happened to the Congress’ promise of reducing prices in 100 days. What kind of a government is this that cannot give you water despite there being lot of water. We can't tolerate this Government. Why should the people of Assam remember those who have forgotten the state and their people,” said Shri Modi.

Rejecting the claims made by political pundits, who were busy predicting poll results, as hogwash, Shri Modi stated that the 2014 Elections were more about the BJP’s chemistry rather than the arithmetical conclusions of the political analysts. “Someone asked - what do you think about elections. +2%, +few seats is ok from the arithmetic point of view but this poll is about BJP's chemistry. In arithmetic 1+1 can be two but our chemistry is such that when 1 and 1 come together it becomes 11,” affirmed Shri Modi.

Shri Modi also recalled his visit to Assam as an organizational worker and spoke of how he had never seen such a huge crowd gather to listen to a politician. Terming the large crowd as a ‘kesariya samundar’, he acknowledged the support shown by the people and affirmed of repaying back their confidence by ensuring the progress of the Nation.

People from all corners of India are seen in Asansol. But the misgovernance of Bengal governments affected Asansol: PM Modi
PM Modi says on May 2, which is the day of assembly election results, Didi will be given the certificate of Bengal ex-chief minister by the people of the state
In Asansol, PM Modi says Mamata Banerjee has skipped several meetings called by the Centre to discuss many key issues

Addressing a huge rally in West Bengal’s Asansol ahead of sixth phase of assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “TMC was broken after four phases of polls, `Didi' and `Bhatija' will be defeated by end of West Bengal elections. Voting of the fifth phase is also going on where people in large numbers are voting for the lotus flower to form the BJP government.”

“This region of Asansol has the potential to become the industrial centre of India since a long time. From bicycle to rail, from paper to steel, from aluminium to glass - people come from all across India to work in these factories. In a way, Asansol is mini India. People from all corners of India are seen here. But the misgovernance of Bengal governments affected Asansol,” said PM Modi while addressing the public meeting.

Speaking on Mamata Didi’s anti-development agenda, PM Modi stated, “Mamata Banerjee is against development of Bengal. We will work for the aspirations of the people of Bengal. New investment will come in. Bengal needs a government of double engines, not those who are stopping development. The BJP government of Bengal will implement every scheme that benefits you, which was stopped by Didi's government.”

Coming down hard at TMC supremo, the PM asserted, “Her politics is not limited to just protests, but it has crossed a dangerous limit of vengeance.” The Prime Minister also slammed Banerjee for skipping several meetings called by the Centre to discuss many key issues. He said, “In the last two meetings on Corona, the rest of the Chief Ministers came, but Didi did not. The rest of the Chief Ministers came to the Governing Council of NITI Aayog, but Didi did not. Such a huge campaign started in the country to clean river Ganga, but Didi did not even attend the meeting related to it.”

Prime Minister Modi while addressing a rally in Asansol said that on May 2, which is the day of assembly election results, Mamata Banerjee will be given the certificate of Bengal ex-chief minister by the people of the state.

Taking about the leaked audio of Mamata Banerjee, the Prime Minister remarked, “You must have heard an audio tape on what happened in Cooch Behar yesterday. The audio was of Didi doing politics after the tragic death of 5 people. In this audio, the TMC leader of Cooch Behar was being asked by Didi to organize a rally with the dead bodies of the slain.”
