"Watch the event LIVE @narendramodi.in"

Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Loha Abhiyan’ programme at Nicol Ward in Ahmedabad on 28th December at 3:00 pm, by flagging off a motorcade of 75 trucks at a length of 1 km.

These trucks, carrying over 75,000 environmental friendly Statue of Unity Resource Kits, will travel throughout the country to collect soil and used agricultural iron tool from all villages of India. These will be then used to construct the 182 meter tall statue of Sardar Patel - which will also be the world's tallest - at the banks of River Narmada near the Sardar Sarovar Damn in Gujarat.
