Addressing Indian Community in Kobe, Japan, PM Narendra Modi today said that whatever is happening in India makes all Indians across the globe proud. “The good in India is happening due to 125 crore Indians”, the PM said.

Prime Minister Modi said that India is getting historically high FDI and is moving quickly on the path of economic progress. He added that for him, FDI means ‘First Develop India’. “Despite two years of serious drought, the entire world has acknowledged that India is the fastest growing large economy globally”, Shri Modi remarked.

He expounded on his vision to eradicate poverty from the country. PM Modi said, “When we assumed office what did we do first- we opened bank accounts for the poor.”

PM Modi saluted each and every Indian that despite inconvenience faced by them due to demonetization of currency notes, they accepted the decision and are cooperating in the move. He added, “Money that has been looted has to be recovered. And the rules have to be same for everyone. This government will do everything to protect the interests of honest citizens.”
