पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज उत्तर प्रदेशातील वाराणसी येथे व्हिडिओ कॉन्फरन्सिंगद्वारे 72व्या राष्ट्रीय व्हॉलीबॉल स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन केले. या प्रसंगी मोदी यांनी वाराणसीचे खासदार म्हणून सर्व खेळाडूंचे स्वागत करताना आणि त्यांचे अभिनंदन करताना होणारा विशेष आनंद व्यक्त केला. राष्ट्रीय व्हॉलीबॉल अजिंक्यपद स्पर्धा आजपासून वाराणसीमध्ये सुरू होत असल्याचे त्यांनी घोषित केले. सर्व खेळाडू प्रचंड मेहनतीनंतर या राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेत पोहोचले आहेत आणि येत्या काही दिवसांत वाराणसीच्या मैदानावर त्यांच्या प्रयत्नांची कसोटी लागणार आहे, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले . देशातील 28 राज्यांचे संघ येथे एकत्र आले असून यामधून 'एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत'चे सुंदर चित्र सादर होत आहे, असे त्यांनी नमूद केले. पंतप्रधानांनी स्पर्धेमधील सर्व सहभागींचे स्वागत केले व त्यांना शुभेच्छा दिल्या.नवी दिल्ली येथे वीर बाल दिवस कार्यक्रमामधील पंतप्रधानांचे संबोधन
