'मन की बात' मध्ये पुन्हा एकदा तुम्हा सर्वांसोबत सहभागी होताना मला खूप आनंद होत आहे. 2026 चं अर्धं वर्ष आता संपत आलं आहे. या सहा महिन्यांत आपण 'मन की बात' मध्ये आपल्या देशबांधवांच्या अनेक कामगिरींवर चर्चा केली आहे. जून महिन्यातही देशानं असे काही मैलाचे दगड गाठले आहेत, ज्यामुळे प्रत्येक नागरिकाला अभिमान वाटेल. हे यश राष्ट्राची सुरक्षा आणि आत्मनिर्भरता यांच्याशी जोडलेलं आहे. अलीकडेच मला कोलकाता इथे एका नौदल कार्यक्रमात सहभागी होण्याची संधी मिळाली. तिथे आयएनएस दूनागिरी, आयएनएस संशोधक आणि आयएनएस अग्रय ही जहाजं भारतीय नौदलाच्या ताफ्यात सामील करण्यात आली. या जहाजांच्या आरेखनापासून ते निर्मितीपर्यंत सर्व काही स्वदेशी आहे.

आज स्वामी विवेकानंद जयंतीदिनी भारतात चॅन्सलर फ्रेडरिक मर्झ यांचे स्वागत करणे, ही माझ्यासाठी एक विशेष आनंदाची गोष्ट आहे. आणि हा एक अनोखा योगायोगही आहे. याचे कारण म्हणजे स्वामी विवेकानंद यांनी तत्वज्ञान, ज्ञान यांच्या माध्यमातून भारत आणि जर्मनीमध्ये एक सेतू निर्माण केला होता. चॅन्सलर मर्झ यांच्या आजच्या भेटीमुळे त्या सेतूला नवीन ऊर्जा, नवीन आत्मविश्वास मिळत आहे आणि हे संबंध नव्याने विस्तारत आहेत. चॅन्सलर यांची ही केवळ भारताचीच नाही तर आशियामधलीही पहिली भेट आहे. भारताशी असलेल्या संबंधांना ते किती महत्त्व देतात याची ही एक शक्तिशाली साक्ष आहे. त्यांचे असलेले वैयक्तिक लक्ष आणि वचनबद्धतेबद्दल मी त्यांचे आभार मानतो. जर्मनीशी असलेली मैत्री आणि भागीदारी आणखी मजबूत करण्यासाठी भारत पूर्णपणे वचनबद्ध आहे. गुजरातमध्ये, आम्ही म्हणतो, आवकरो मीठो आपजे रे, म्हणजे, प्रेमाने आणि आपुलकीच्या भावनेने स्वागत करावे. याच भावनेने आम्ही चॅन्सलर मेर्झ यांचे भारतात मनापासून स्वागत करतो.
