PM Modi inaugurated Phase 1 of Noida International Airport at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh and said that the occasion marks a new chapter in the Viksit UP, Viksit Bharat Abhiyan. He noted that the government has resolved to make India self-reliant in the MRO sector. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज उत्तरप्रदेशात जेवर इथे, नोएडा आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळाचे उद्घाटन केले. यावेळी या प्रगतीबद्दल आनंद आणि अभिमान व्यक्त करत, हा सोहळा, विकसित उत्तरप्रदेश आणि विकसित भारताच्या गाथेत एक नवा अध्याय लिहिणारा ठरला आहे, असे मत त्यांनी व्यक्त केले. भारतातील सर्वात मोठे राज्य आता, सर्वाधिक आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ असलेल्या राज्यांपैकी एक ठरले आहे, असेही त्यांनी नमूद केले. आज दुहेरी आनंदाचा प्रसंग आहे. पहिले कारण म्हणजे, आपणच या विमानतळाच्या कामाची पायाभरणी केली होती, आणि आज आपल्यालाच त्याचे उद्घाटनही करण्याची संधी मिळाली आहे. तर दुसरे आनंदाचे कारण या भव्य विमानतळाच्या नावाचा उत्तरप्रदेशशी जवळचा संबंध आहे. “या प्रदेशाचा खासदार म्हणून, हे राज्य माझ्या विशेष जवळचे राज्य आहे, आणि आता या शहराची ओळखच या भव्य विमानतळाशी जोडलेली असेल.” असे सांगत, पंतप्रधानांनी या क्षेत्रातील लोकांचे अभिनंदन केले.India - China cooperation is linked to the interests of 2.8 billion people: PM Modi in Tianjin

In his remarks, PM Modi thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for the warm welcome. Recalling their meaningful discussions in Kazan, the PM noted that an atmosphere of peace and stability has been established following the border disengagement. He further highlighted the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and congratulated the President on China’s successful presidency of the SCO.
