सन 2026 ची सुरुवात तुमच्या आयुष्यात नव्या आनंदाची सुरुवात घेऊन येत आहे. वसंत पंचमी कालच साजरी झाली असून, तुमच्या आयुष्यातही नव्या वसंताची सुरुवात होत आहे. हा काळ तुम्हाला संविधानाबद्दलच्या तुमच्या जबाबदाऱ्यांशीही जोडणारा आहे. योगायोगाने, या काळात देशात प्रजासत्ताकाचा महोत्सव सुरू आहे. काल 23 जानेवारी रोजी आपण नेताजी सुभाषचंद्र बोस यांची जयंती ‘पराक्रम दिवस’ म्हणून साजरी केली आणि उद्या 25 जानेवारी रोजी राष्ट्रीय मतदार दिन आहे. त्यानंतर 26 जानेवारीला प्रजासत्ताक दिन आहे. आजचा दिवस ही विशेष आहे. आजच्याच दिवशी आपल्या संविधानाने ‘जन गण मन’ हे राष्ट्रगीत आणि ‘वंदे मातरम्’ हे राष्ट्रीय गीत म्हणून स्वीकारले होते. आजच्या या महत्त्वाच्या दिवशी देशातील 61 हजारांहून अधिक युवक आपल्या आयुष्याची नवी सुरुवात करत आहेत. आज तुम्हा सर्वांना सरकारी सेवांसाठी नियुक्तीपत्रे मिळत आहेत. ही नियुक्तीपत्रे म्हणजे राष्ट्रनिर्माणासाठीचे आमंत्रणपत्र आहे. हे विकसित भारताच्या उभारणीला गती देणारे संकल्पपत्र आहे. तुमच्यापैकी अनेक जण देशाची सुरक्षा अधिक मजबूत करतील, आपल्या शिक्षण आणि आरोग्यसेवा व्यवस्थेला अधिक सक्षम करतील. काही युवक आर्थिक सेवा आणि ऊर्जा सुरक्षेला बळकटी देतील, तर काही युवक आपल्या सरकारी कंपन्यांच्या वाढीत महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावतील. मी आपणा सर्व युवकांचे मनःपूर्वक अभिनंदन करतो आणि हार्दिक शुभेच्छा देतो.

काल मी मालदामध्ये होतो आणि आज इथे हुगळीमध्ये तुमच्याशी संवाद साधण्याचे भाग्य मला लाभले आहे. विकसित भारतासाठी पूर्व भारताचा विकास हे उद्दीष्ट ठेवून केंद्र सरकार सातत्यान काम करत आहे. कालचा आणि आजचा कार्यक्रम हाच निर्धार बळकट करणारे आहेत. या दोन दिवसांत पश्चिम बंगालमधील करोडो रुपयांच्या प्रकल्पांचे भूमीपूजन आणि लोकार्पण करण्याची संधी मला मिळाली. देशातली पहिली वंदे भारत शयनयान रेल्वे काल पश्चिम बंगालमधून सुरू झाली. बंगालमध्ये जवळपास अर्धा डझन नवीन अमृत भारत वेगवान रेल्वे सुरू झाल्या आहेत आणि आज आणखी तीन अमृत भारत वेगवान रेल्वे सुरू झाल्या. यातील एका रेल्वेमुळे काशी वाराणसी या माझ्या मतदारसंघाची पश्चिम बंगालसोबतची संपर्कव्यवस्था आणखी मजबूत होणार आहे. शिवाय, दिल्ली आणि तमिळनाडूमध्ये जाणाऱ्या अमृत भारत वेगवान रेल्वे सुरू झाल्या आहेत. पश्चिम बंगालमधील रेल्वे वाहतुकीसाठी हे दोन दिवस अभूतपूर्व असेच म्हणावे लागतील. गेल्या 100 वर्षांत 24 तासांत इतके काम कदाचित कधीच झाले नसेल.

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी पश्चिम बंगालमधील मालदा येथे 3,250 कोटी रुपयांच्या अनेक रेल्वे आणि रस्ते पायाभूत सुविधा प्रकल्पांचे उद्घाटन केले आणि पायाभरणी केली. याचा उद्देश पश्चिम बंगाल आणि ईशान्येकडील प्रदेशातील संचारसंपर्क मजबूत करणे तसेच विकासाला गती देणे हा आहे. याप्रसंगी उपस्थितांना संबोधित करताना मोदी म्हणाले की, आज मालदा येथून पश्चिम बंगालच्या प्रगतीला गती देण्याच्या मोहिमेला आणखी वेग आला आहे. त्यांनी अधोरेखित केले की, पश्चिम बंगालच्या विकासाशी संबंधित अनेक प्रकल्पांचे नुकतेच उद्घाटन करून ते राष्ट्राला समर्पित करण्यात आले आहेत. पंतप्रधानांनी सांगितले की, पश्चिम बंगालसाठी नवीन रेल्वे सेवा सुरू करण्यात आल्या आहेत. हे प्रकल्प लोकांचा प्रवास सुलभ करतील, तसेच व्यापार आणि वाणिज्य सुलभ करतील. त्यांनी यावर जोर दिला की, येथे स्थापन करण्यात आलेल्या नवीन रेल्वे देखभाल सुविधांमुळे बंगालच्या तरुणांना नवीन संधी उपलब्ध होतील.
