पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते आज आसाममधील दिब्रुगड इथे ईशान्य भारतातील पहिल्या आपत्कालीन लँडिंग सुविधेचे (Emergency Landing Facility - Elf - आपत्कालीन परिस्थितीत विमानं उतरवण्याच्या धावपट्ट्या) उद्घाटन झाले. ईशान्य भारताला अशी आपत्कालीन लँडिंग सुविधा मिळणे ही अत्यंत अभिमानाची बाब असल्याचे पंतप्रधानांनी म्हटले आहे. धोरणात्मक दृष्टिकोनातून आणि नैसर्गिक आपत्तीच्या काळात ही सुविधा अत्यंत महत्त्वाची असल्याचेही त्यांनी नमूद केले आहे.Congress wants to push Assam back into instability and infiltration: PM Modi in Guwahati

पंतप्रधान श्री नरेंद्र मोदी 14 फेब्रुवारी 2026 रोजी आसामला भेट देतील. सकाळी 10:30 वाजता, पंतप्रधान दिब्रुगडमधील मोरन बायपासवरील आपत्कालीन लँडिंग प्लॅटफॉर्मवर (ईएलएफ) पंतप्रधान उतरतील, तेथे ते लढाऊ विमाने, वाहतूक आणि हेलिकॉप्टर यांची हवाई प्रात्यक्षिके पाहतील. दुपारी 1 वाजता, पंतप्रधान ब्रह्मपुत्रा नदीवरील कुमार भास्कर वर्मा सेतूला भेट देतील. त्यानंतर, दुपारी 1:30 वाजता, पंतप्रधान गुवाहाटीतील लाचित घाट येथे 5,450 कोटी रुपयांपेक्षा जास्त किमतीच्या विविध प्रकल्पांचे उद्घाटन आणि त्यांना हिरवा झेंडा दाखवतील.
