येथे हिंदुस्तान टाइम्स शिखर परिषदेत देश-विदेशातील अनेक मान्यवर उपस्थित आहेत. आयोजकांचे आणि ज्यांनी आपले विचार मांडले त्या सर्व सहकाऱ्यांचे मी मनापासून अभिनंदन करतो. थोड्याच वेळापूर्वी शोभना जींनी दोन मुद्दे मांडले, जे मी विशेष लक्षात घेतले आहेत. एक म्हणजे त्यांनी सांगितले की मागच्या वेळी मोदीजी आले होते, तेव्हा त्यांनी एक सूचना दिली होती. या देशात माध्यम संस्थांनी काय काम करावे, हे सांगण्याचे धैर्य कोणीही करू शकत नाही. पण मी ते केले होते, आणि मला आनंद आहे की शोभनाजी आणि त्यांच्या टीमने ते काम मोठ्या आवडीने केले. आणि देशाला – मी आत्ताच प्रदर्शन पाहून आलो – मी सर्वांना विनंती करतो की प्रदर्शन नक्की पाहा. या छायाचित्रकार सहकाऱ्यांनी त्या क्षणांना असे टिपले आहे की ते क्षण अमर झाले आहेत. दुसरी गोष्ट त्यांनी सांगितली आणि तीही मी ज्या शब्दांत समजलो, त्यांनी म्हटले की तुम्ही पुढेही… त्या असेही म्हणू शकल्या असत्या की तुम्ही पुढेही देशाची सेवा करत राहा, पण हिंदुस्तान टाइम्सने असे म्हटले की तुम्ही पुढेही अशीच सेवा करत राहा, यासाठी मी विशेष आभार व्यक्त करतो.
