आज भारताच्या सागरी शक्तीच्या दृष्टीने खूप मोठा दिवस आहे. राष्ट्राची लष्करी सुरक्षा असो अथवा राष्ट्राची आर्थिक सुरक्षा, भारत आज मोठ्या संधींचा साक्षीदार बनत आहे. आत्ताच काही वेळा पूर्वी कोच्चीमध्ये भारताच्या पहिल्या स्वदेशी विमानवाहू तळाच्या लोकार्पण कार्यक्रमाने प्रत्येक भारतीयाचा ऊर अभिमानाने भरून आला आहे. आणि आता इथे मंगळूरूमध्ये 3 हजार 700 कोटी रूपयांपेक्षा जास्त खर्चाच्या प्रकल्पांचे लोकार्पण, शिलान्यास आणि भूमिपूजन कार्यक्रम होत आहे. ऐतिहासिक मंगळूरू बंदराची क्षमतेच्या विस्ताराबरोबरच इथे शुद्धीकरण आणि आमच्या मच्छिमार मित्रांचे उत्पन्न वाढविण्यासाठी अनेक प्रकल्पांचे लोकार्पण आणि शिलान्यासही झाला आहे. या प्रकल्पांसाठी मी कर्नाटकवासियांचे, तुम्हा सर्वांचे खूप-खूप अभिनंदन करतो.

भारताच्या न्यायव्यवस्थेचं नेतृत्व करत असलेल्या आपणा सर्वांमध्ये येणं नेहमीच एक सुखद अनुभव असतो, पण बोलणं जरा कठीण असतं. जिल्हा विधी सेवा प्राधिकरणांच्या अध्यक्षांची ही अशा प्रकारची पहिली राष्ट्रीय बैठक आहे आणि मी असं समजतो की ही एक चांगली, शुभ सुरुवात आहे, म्हणजेच हे यापुढेही सुरु राहील. अशा प्रकारच्या कार्यक्रमासाठी आपण निवडलेली वेळ अचूक आणि ऐतिहासिक दृष्ट्‍या महत्वाची देखील आहे. आजपासून थोड्याच दिवसांनी देश आपल्या स्वातंत्र्याची 75 वर्ष पूर्ण करत आहे. हा काळ आपल्या स्वातंत्र्याच्या अमृत काळाची वेळ आहे. ही वेळ त्या संकल्पांची आहे, जे पुढील 25 वर्षांत देशाला नव्या उंचीवर घेऊन जातील. देशाच्या या अमृत यात्रेत, ईझ ऑफ डूइंग बिझनेस (व्यापार सुलभता) आणि ईझ ऑफ लिव्हिंग (जगण्यातील सुलभता) प्रमाणेच ईझ ऑफ जस्टीस (न्याय मिळण्यातील सहजता) देखील तेवढीच महत्वाची आहे. राष्ट्रीय विधी सेवा प्राधिकरण आणि सर्व जिल्हा विधी सेवा प्राधिकरणे यामध्ये अत्यंत महत्वाची भूमिका बजावू शकतील. या कार्यक्रमासाठी मी विशेषतः ललितजी यांचे आणि आपल्या सर्वांचं विशेष अभिनंदन करतो, खूप-खूप शुभेच्छा देतो.
