Shri Modi prays in Ambaji and receives lakhs of wishes on occasion of his birthday

On Day 5 (17th September 2012) on the Yuva Vikas Yatra, Shri Modi commenced a fresh phase of the journey from the holy town of Ambaji in Banaskantha District. 17th September also marked Shri Modi’s birth anniversary and lakhs of wishes poured in from various quarters to wish Shri Modi.

The Yatra covered Hadad (Banaskantha District), Kheroj, Khedbrahma, Vadali, Idar,and  Himmatnagar (Sabarkantha District).

BJP President Shri Nitin Gadkari joined the Yatra in Ambaji and lauded the development in Gujarat.

Shri Modi announced the creation of Aravalli district and took on the UPA for its anti-people approach. He spoke about how the Tribal stretch between Adivasi and Umargaon have been transformed over the last decade.

The response to the Yatra continued to be phenomenal. Lots of people joined in and extended support to the Yatra.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation today with the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah.

The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving security situation in West Asia.

Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the escalation of tensions and reaffirmed India’s strong condemnation of attacks on Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Prime Minister reiterated the call for de-escalation, dialogue and diplomacy for earliest restoration of peace and stability.

Prime Minister thanked His Highness the Amir for his personal attention to the continued well-being and the safety of the large Indian community in Kuwait.
