Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh

PM Modi will visit Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh on May 29-30. In Sikkim, he’ll attend the “Sikkim@50” event and launch key development projects. In West Bengal, he’ll lay the foundation for a City Gas Distribution project in Alipurduar. In Bihar, he’ll inaugurate Patna Airport’s new terminal and later address a public meet in Karakat. In Uttar Pradesh, he’ll launch projects in Kanpur.

The Union Cabinet, led by PM Modi, approved the establishment of a sixth semiconductor unit under the India Semiconductor Mission. A joint venture between HCL and Foxconn, the plant near Jewar airport will manufacture display driver chips for mobile phones, laptops, and more.
