During his State Visit to Namibia, PM Modi met President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at the State House in Windhoek. He congratulated her on becoming Head of State. The leaders reflected on shared history, discussed boosting bilateral trade, and agreed to fast-track India-SACU PTA talks. PM Modi paid homage to the Founding Father and the First President of Namibia, Dr. Sam Nujoma at the Heroes Acre memorial. The PM remembered Dr. Sam Nujoma as a visionary leader who devoted his life to the struggle for Namibia’s independence. Dr. Nujoma was a great friend of India.
