The state visit of President To Lam of Vietnam to India resulted in the signing of several MoUs/agreements. These cover areas such as rare earth elements, culture, digital payments, technology, medicine, education, audit and tourism. At the India-Vietnam Joint Press Meet, PM Modi said that President To Lam’s visit to Bodh Gaya reflects the shared civilizational and spiritual traditions between the two countries. He noted that the relations have been elevated to an Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. At the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, PM Narendra Modi, visited Brunei Darussalam. This was PM Modi’s first visit as well as the first bilateral visit by an Indian PM to Brunei Darussalam. Reflecting on the excellent progress over the years in bilateral relations, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen, deepen and enhance partnership in all areas of mutual interest.
