Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking in the Lok Sabha during the special discussion on Operation Sindoor, strongly defended the military action taken in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam. He took sharp aim at the Congress, accusing it of undermining the morale of the armed forces. “India received support from across the world, but it is unfortunate that the Congress could not stand with the bravery of our soldiers,” the Prime Minister said.
