പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഇന്ന് ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡിലെ ഡെറാഡൂണിൽ 38-ാം ദേശീയ ഗെയിംസ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സദസ്സിനെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യവേ, യുവാക്കളുടെ ഊർജത്താൽ ദീപ്തമാണ് ഇന്ന് ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ബാബ കേദാർനാഥ്, ബദരീനാഥ്, ഗംഗാമാതാവ് എന്നിവരുടെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തോടെയാണ് 38-ാം ദേശീയ ഗെയിംസ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ് രൂപീകൃതമായതിന്റെ 25-ാം വർഷമാണിതെന്ന് എടുത്തുപറഞ്ഞ അദ്ദേഹം, രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള യുവാക്കൾ ഈ യുവസംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കഴിവുകൾ പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. ‘ഏകഭാരതം, ശ്രേഷ്ഠഭാരതം’ എന്നതിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ ചിത്രമാണ് ഈ പരിപാടി പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. ദേശീയ ഗെയിംസിന്റെ ഈ പതിപ്പിൽ നിരവധി പ്രാദേശിക കായിക ഇനങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ അദ്ദേഹം, പരിസ്ഥിതിസൗഹൃദസാമഗ്രികളുടെ ഉപയോഗത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ ‘ഗ്രീൻ ഗെയിംസ്’ എന്നതാണ് ഈ ഗെയിംസിന്റെ പ്രമേയമെന്നും ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ഈ വിഷയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ വിശദീകരിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം, ട്രോഫികളും മെഡലുകളും പോലും ഇ-മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടാണ് നിർമിച്ചതെന്നും ഓരോ മെഡൽ ജേതാവിന്റെയും പേരിൽ ഒരു മരം നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നും അത് മികച്ച സംരംഭമാണെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ചവയ്ക്കുന്നതിനായി എല്ലാ കായികതാരങ്ങൾക്കും അദ്ദേഹം ആശംസകൾ നേർന്നു. ഇത്രയും മഹത്തായ പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചതിന് ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ് ഗവണ്മെന്റിനെയും ജനങ്ങളെയും അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
