പോർബന്ദറിൽ നിന്ന് ഒമാനിലെ മസ്കറ്റിലേയ്ക്ക് കന്നി യാത്ര ആരംഭിച്ച ഐ.എൻ.എസ്.വി കൗണ്ടിന്യ രൂപകല്പന ചെയ്തവർക്കും, കരകൗശല വിദഗ്ധർക്കും, കപ്പൽ നിർമ്മാതാക്കൾക്കും, ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയ്ക്കും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു. ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ സമ്പന്നമായ സമുദ്ര പാരമ്പര്യത്തെ വിളിച്ചോതുന്ന, പുരാതന ഇന്ത്യൻ തുന്നൽ കപ്പൽ നിർമ്മാണ വിദ്യ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് ഐ.എൻ.എസ്.വി കൗണ്ടിന്യ നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.ഗൾഫ് മേഖലയുമായും അതിനപ്പുറവുമുള്ള നമ്മുടെ ചരിത്രപരമായ ബന്ധങ്ങളെ പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ യാത്രയിൽ, കപ്പലിലെ ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് സുരക്ഷിതവും അവിസ്മരണീയവുമായ യാത്ര ആശംസിക്കുന്നു, ശ്രീ മോദി പറഞ്ഞു.
