പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഇന്ന് ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ കാർഷിക ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ നടന്ന പ്രത്യേക കൃഷി പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പൊതുപരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി കർഷകരുമായി സംവദിച്ചു.കാർഷിക മേഖലയിൽ 35,440 കോടി രൂപയുടെ രണ്ട് പ്രധാന പദ്ധതികൾക്ക് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. 24,000 കോടി രൂപയുടെ പ്രധാൻ മന്ത്രി ധൻ ധാന്യ കൃഷി യോജനയ്ക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. പയർവർഗ്ഗ മേഖലയിൽ 11,440 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ആത്മനിർഭരത ദൗത്യത്തിനും അദ്ദേഹം തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. കൃഷി, മൃഗസംരക്ഷണം, മത്സ്യബന്ധനം, ഭക്ഷ്യ സംസ്കരണം എന്നീ മേഖലകളിൽ 5,450 കോടിയിലധികം രൂപയുടെ പദ്ധതികളുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നിർവഹിക്കുകയും രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന് സമർപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഏകദേശം 815 കോടി രൂപയുടെ അധിക പദ്ധതികൾക്കും അ‌ദ്ദേഹം തറക്കല്ലിട്ടു.
