This government has worked tirelessly over the past five years to ensure inclusive and rapid development for all: PM Modi in Odisha
The Opposition parties especially the Congress and BJD have entirely failed the people of Odisha through their ineffective governance and endemic corruption: PM Modi
The BJP is fully committed to making Odisha one of India’s most developed states: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two huge rallies in Kendrapara and Balasore in Odisha today where he touched upon many crucial issues such as national security, his government’s achievements since 2014 as well as the Opposition’s lack of issues against the government before urging his supporters to vote in large numbers for the BJP.

Describing how his government has worked differently from the previous ones, PM Modi said, “The people of this country have seen governments come and go. But this government is one like no other, the only government without a taint of corruption in its tenure. This government has worked tirelessly over the past five years to ensure inclusive and rapid development for all. While on one hand, we have empowered the poorest and the most vulnerable sections of society through our historic schemes, on the other hand, we have done tremendous work to address the growing needs of a rapidly developing country like the 21st century India. Our guiding mantra is ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ which involves no appeasement, no discrimination, everything is happening for everyone to benefit from.”'

Taking on the Opposition parties including the ruling BJD in Odisha for their neglect towards the needs and aspirations of the people they govern, Prime Minister Modi said, “The Opposition parties especially the Congress and BJD have entirely failed the people of Odisha through their ineffective governance and endemic corruption. Women in Odisha do not feel secure under the BJD government and crime has become rampant. Instead of improving the quality of life of their people, the BJD leaders have spent decades in Odisha enriching their own families from a range of corruption scandals ranging from coal to chitfunds. Once we come to power in Odisha, we will ensure that none of these crimes go unpunished and will also ensure that the people get the money they deserve without any corruption.”

Highlighting his vision for the development of Odisha in the coming times, PM Modi said, “The state of Odisha has vast untapped potential to grow and once we get the support of the people in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, we will make Odisha’s progress our first priority. We will strengthen its economy by supporting the fishermen community here so as to expand the ‘blue economy’ of Odisha to create employment and infrastructural development. We will also take effective and strong measures to rein in crime in Odisha to provide better security for the women here. The BJP is fully committed to making Odisha one of India’s most developed states.”
