Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

PM Modi will visit Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on 1st March 2026. He will launch various development projects worth over Rs. 2,700 crore aimed at strengthening infrastructure, urban services, industrial development, education, healthcare and sustainable growth in Puducherry. Thereafter, he will travel to Madurai and launch infrastructure projects worth over Rs. 4,400 crore. He will also perform darshan and pooja at Arulmigu Subramaniyaswamy Temple, Tirupparankundram in Madurai.

Addressing a programme to mark fifty years of Auroville Foundation, PM Modi said that it was important to remember the vast extent of action and thought of Shri Aurobindo. He said that Shri Aurobindo was a man of action, a philosopher, a poet and there many more facets to his character which were dedicated to the good of the nation and humanity.
