ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಸಡಕ್ ಯೋಜನೆ-III (ಪಿ.ಎಂ.ಜಿ.ಎಸ್.ವೈ.-III) ಅನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 2025 ರಿಂದ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 2028 ರವರೆಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಇದು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕೃಷಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳು (ಜಿ.ಆರ್.ಎ.ಎಂ.), ಉನ್ನತ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಜನವಸತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಗಳ ಏಕೀಕರಣವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ವೆಚ್ಚವು 83,977 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ನಿರಂತರ ಕಡಲ ವಿಮಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು 12,980 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಖಾತರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ 'ಭಾರತದ ಸಮುದ್ರ ವಿಮಾ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ' (ಬಿಎಂಐ ಪೂಲ್) ಅನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವನ್ನು ಸಂಪುಟ ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಿದೆ
