PM Modi addressed an overflowing crowd gathered at a public meeting in Kolkata where he declared that Bengal’s rise is essential for India’s rise. He firmly reassured, “The BJP government at the Centre has continuously supported Bengal’s growth. From highways to railways, Bengal has received three times more funds than under UPA. But the biggest challenge is that funds sent from Delhi are looted by the state government and not spent on people’s welfare. ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 7,160 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೆಟ್ರೋದ ಹಳದಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು 15,610 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಹಂತ-3 ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಆರ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವಂದೇ ಭಾರತ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ರೈಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ತಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆಯ ಭಾವನೆ ಮೂಡಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆ, ಜನರ ವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟುವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಮಾಧುರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅಧಿದೇವತೆ ಅಣ್ಣಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಶತಮಾನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡಿಪಾಯ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರು ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಿರುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ಹೊಸ ಎತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವ ನಗರದ ಕನಸು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. “ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಆ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇಂದು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅದೇ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.ವಾರಣಾಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ/ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯ ಅವರ ಭಾಷಣ
