Planned under the PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan, these projects are in line with the PM's New India vision to make the people of the region “Atmanirbhar”.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved two Ministry of Railways projects worth about Rs. 2,781 crore. These include the Devbhumi Dwarka (Okha)-Kanalus doubling covering 141 km and the Badlapur-Karjat 3rd and 4th line spanning 32 km. The projects will increase line capacity, improve mobility and strengthen operational efficiency and service reliability by reducing congestion across the network.

ಮೇಲಿನ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕುಗಳ ಸುಗಮ ಮತ್ತು ವೇಗದ ಸಾಗಣೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿವೆ. ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಅನುಕೂಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ, ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಲಾಜಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ (ಸರಕುಗಳ ಸಾಗಣೆ) ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ತೈಲ ಆಮದಿನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅವಲಂಬನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಕಡಿಮೆ CO2 (ಇಂಗಾಲದ ಡೈಆಕ್ಸೈಡ್) ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕವಾಗಿವೆ, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ರೈಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಅದರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 251 (ಎರಡು ನೂರ ಐವತ್ತೊಂದು) ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಾನವ-ದಿನಗಳ ನೇರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು 11,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು

ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ದೆಹಲಿಯ ರೋಹಿಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 11,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾದ ʻಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿʼಯ ಹೆಸರು ದ್ವಾರಕಾ ಆಗಿರುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ರೋಹಿಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಜನ್ಮಾಷ್ಟಮಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮೋದಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ತಾವು ಸಹ ದ್ವಾರಕಾಧೀಶನ ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು ಎಂಬ ಕಾಕತಾಳೀಯತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದರು. ಇಡೀ ವಾತಾವರಣವು ಭಗವಾನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಸಾರದಿಂದ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಗಮನಿಸಿದರು.

Cabinet approves two multitracking projects across Indian Railways covering various states

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved Koderma – Barkakana Doubling and Ballari – Chikjajur Doubling projects of Ministry of Railways with total cost of Rs. 6,405 crore. These initiatives will improve travel convenience, reduce logistic cost, decrease oil imports and contribute to lower CO2 emissions, supporting sustainable and efficient rail operations and generate employment.
