ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಏಷ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಇಂದು ನಾನು ಈ ಗಂಭೀರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಲುವು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನ ಮೇಲ್ಮನೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಸಹ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಈಗ 3 ವಾರಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದೆ. ಇದು ವಿಶ್ವಾದ್ಯಂತ ತೀವ್ರ ಇಂಧನ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದೆ. ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಚಿಂತಾಜನಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್, ಡೀಸೆಲ್, ಅನಿಲ ಮತ್ತು ರಸಗೊಬ್ಬರಗಳಂತಹ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಪೂರೈಕೆಗಳು ಅಸ್ತವ್ಯಸ್ತಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 1 ಕೋಟಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಗಲ್ಫ್ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾರ್ಮುಜ್ ಜಲಸಂಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೂ ಗಂಭೀರ ಕಳವಳದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಭೀಕರ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನ ಈ ಮೇಲ್ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಾದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಧ್ವನಿ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
