"My teachers have a big role in making me what I am: Shri Modi"

It is humbling to note the respect and affection Shri Modi has for teachers. Soon after he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he showed his respect and gratitude for his teachers. At the book launch of his book ‘Kelave Te Kelavani’ he specially invited all his teachers and honoured them.

At the event Shri Modi said “It is my wish to see that the teacher is considered the guiding force in society”
