Commendable decision by Chief Minister Narendra Modi Income limit of poor beneficiaries for availing free-of-charge legal services increased from Rs.50,000 to Rs.1 L

Now, poor families with income of up to rupees one lakh will be able to seek free-of-charge legal services through State Legal Services Authority.

In a commendable decision, Chief Minister Narendra Modi has doubled the prescribed income limit for availing free-of-charge legal services, raising it from Rs.50,000 to Rs.1-lakh. The decision has been taken with a view to extend the scope of free-of-charge legal services to a wider population of poor families.
