The assembly-Session is truly historic. Presenting the proposal of ‘Swarnim Gujarat Sansadiya Sanklpa Parishad’ in the assembly, Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi said, 'In the 21st century, Gujarat has to become home and destination for the entire world. I appeal present and past –people’s representatives to offer their valuable guidance and share their insights for realizing the ambitions goal.'

Outlining the core-theme of the proposal, Shri Narendrabhai warmly greeted the dignitaries for 2010. Gujarat is poised reach a significant milestone on 1st May 2010; a date with the history-Gujarat is going to celebrate ‘Suvarna Jayanti’ of attaining her statehood. During today’s historical special session of State assembly, people’s-representatives since 1960 had assembled in the house with a determination to succeed the celebration of Suvarna-Jayanti of Gujarat; they have truly ornamented the public life. Chief Minister expressed his gratitude towards the members.

It is an appropriate occasion to recall landmark achievements; whatever progress is visible today is because of the collective endeavors and the hard work of all in last 50 years. No single person or a Government can change the world. 'He made an appeal to all for extending their valuable guidance, and to contribute to the greater glory of Gujarat. Let us all take a golden pledge,' he appealed.

'It is gratifying to note that everyone’s contribution for the prosperity and progress counts, be it a labourer who has toiled for Narmada-Project, or a farm-laborer. It is the collective strength of Janta-Janardan, 'Chief Minister spoke with rare passion.

'Garvi Gujarat eetale Per-Seva Mate Parsevo Pade Te Gujarat' . He elaborated the rare qualities of Gujarati Community. Guajarati people seeks pleasure in service to others, they always give their best to the society. He highlighted the entrepreneurial dynamism of Gujarati People. Gujarati community has spread across the entire world. But time has changed. In19th and 20th century people migrated from Gujarat across the world. 'But in 21st Century, entire world would make Gujarat their home, Gujarat is the destination for them,' emphasised the C.M.

Every Gujarati would take a pledge, the 5.5 crores pledges would take Gujarat forward by 5.5 crore steps. Gujarat had leaded the freedom movement, Gujarat made golden contributions in independent struggle, now Gujarat would also take a lead for Good Governance too, added C.M.

On this historic occasion, Shri Narendrabhai paid rich tributes to the martyrs of ‘Maha Gujarat movement’.

He expressed his earnest desire that all the people’s representatives would give their valuable contributions for making Gujarat’s tomorrow brighter through their inspirations.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi recently had an engaging and thought-provoking conversation with renowned podcaster and AI researcher Lex Fridman. The discussion, lasting three hours, covered diverse topics, including Prime Minister Modi’s childhood, his formative years spent in the Himalayas, and his journey in public life. This much-anticipated three-hour podcast with renowned AI researcher and podcaster Lex Fridman is set to be released tomorrow, March 16, 2025. Lex Fridman described the conversation as “one of the most powerful conversations” of his life.
