It was no less than a surprise for the Passang Droma, one of Shri Narendra Modi’s youngest and biggest fans when she got a personalized letter from the Prime Minister himself appreciating her success in the Class X CBSE result. Prime Minister Modi complimented her for the hardwork and determination, and wished her the very best for all future endeavours. He also hoped that Passang would scale new heights of glory and make her family proud.

Passang Droma is the daughter of mountaineer Anshu Jamsenpa, who became the first woman in the world to achieve two double ascent of Mt. Everest in five days. In the letter, the PM had also appreciated Jamsenpa saying her passion for mountaineering led to exemplary outcomes and filled hearts and minds of every Indian with pride.

This is not the first time when the Prime Minister has responded through a personalized letter. Earlier a 10 year old girl from Kanpur had written a letter to the PM praising his policies and initiatives, to which Shri Modi had responded by thanking her for her positive and hopeful views.
