Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi has announced to setup a world-class incubation center in the state to facilitate young talents involved in the research activities. He said that youths will be encouraged to evolve solutions that are useful to the society and to the future generations.
Thousands of youths from six districts of south Gujarat today thronged to ‘Swarnim Gujarat Gyan-Shakti Mahotsav', organized by the state government at Surat to mark the end of the golden jubilee year of Gujarat.
Talking about the significance of skilled manpower Chief Minister said that infrastructural development proves meaningless if human resources remain weak. State government is ensuring quality education in primary and secondary schools and has set up various novel institutes to cater the demands of future challenges, he said.

An exhibition on the theme of ‘Gyan-Shakti' was organized on the occasion. Chief Minister took an hour-long visit of the exhibition and asked youth to view the display of the exhibition with a curious mind.
Chief Minister, on the occasion launched ‘Skill Voucher Scheme' of Labor and Employment Department and gave token appointment letters to the youths selected in recruitment camps. He also flagged-off ‘Asmita Yatra' and appealed youths to contribute in Samaydan Abhiyan.

Education Minister Shri Ramanlal Vora said that Girl Child Education drive initiated by the state government eight years back has increased the female literacy rate in the state in a drastic way. On the front of education, Gujarat has jumped on to the sixth position from the 21st, he said.
Various organizations and business houses gave an amount of Rs.78.51-lakh towards Chief Minister's Kanya Kelvani Nidhi.
Cabinet members Shri Narottam Patel, Mangu Patel, Jashwantsinh Bhabhor, Jaysinh Chuahan, Vasuben Trivedi, Ranjit Gilitwala, Ishwar Patel, MPs Shri Shri C.R.Patil, Bharatsinh Parmar, Darshnaben Jardosh, Pravin Nayak, high officials, educationalists and people in large number were present on the occasion.
