"Narendra Modi’s call to Police Force to convey their commendable performance in maintaining law-and-order during the last decade"

Ahmedabad, Monday: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today called on the State Police Force to convey their commendable performance in maintaining peaceful law-and-order situation during the last decade, to the people.

Extending his Vikram Samvat New Year to the police officers at their get-together organized by State Police Force on the occasion of Diwali, he asked all police personnel from constable to top officer to use social media and other mediums to leave the footprints of their achievements among people.

Mr. Modi said that maintaining law-and-order in the society against odds is no small achievement for which the police personnel could legitimately feel proud.

He said that Gujarat Police has undertaken an initiative of modernizing social security through e-Governance technology. The police force has to maintain utmost calm and remain extra alert during the forthcoming General Election, a proud moment for the democracy, next year.

Gujarat’s Director-General of Police Pramod Kumar and other police officers, besides Chief Secretary Varesh Sinha, extended warm welcome to the Chief Minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in Kautilya Economic Conclave, New Delhi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the Kautilya Economic Conclave on 4th October at around 6:30 PM at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The third edition of the Kautilya Economic Conclave will be held from 4th to 6th October. This year’s conclave will focus on themes such as financing the green transition, geo-economic fragmentation and the implications for growth, principles for policy action to preserve resilience among others.

Both Indian and international scholars and policy makers will discuss some of the most important issues confronting the Indian economy and economies of the Global South. Speakers from across the world will take part in the conclave.

The Kautilya Economic Conclave is being organised by the Institute of Economic Growth in partnership with the Ministry of Finance.
