Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister’s Office here has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification for setting up a benchmark of quality management system for the second consecutive three-year term by certifying agency Veritas Bureau.

It was due to the initiatives of Chief Minister Narendra Modi that his office was accorded this benchmark certification first time in the year 2009 for a three-year term, creating a history of sorts among various state governments of India.

The certification justifies the unstinted efforts of the karma yogis at the CMO in continuously providing transparent, efficient, effective and fast good governance as per the expectations and aspirations of the citizens, bringing about an exemplary work culture.

The Gujarat Government’s apex administrative setup, working under the guidance of Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary K. Kailashnathan, Additional Principal Secretary G.C. Murmu and Secretary A.K. Sharma, is committed to continuously improve upon the efficiency in the years to come.

In response to the certification, Mr. Modi congratulated his staff for being ever ready and busy for putting their best foot forward in the service of the people.
