Today, India is growing rapidly. This is powered by the hard-work and talent of the people of our nation: PM Modi
The conduct of Kerala’s LDF Government on the Sabarimala issue will go down in history as one of the most shameful behaviours by any Party and Government: PM
UDF and LDF are two sides of the same old coin. Different in name, but in corruption, casteism and communalism, they are the same: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Kollam, Kerala today. The address comes amid PM Modi’s visit to the state where he also inaugurated the long-overdue Kollam Bypass on NH-66 and dedicated it to the people.

Describing the rapid strides taken by India during the last four years, PM Modi said, “From economy to Ease of Doing Business and from Startups to Satellites, we are achieving great progress in each sector.” He further asked his supporters if four years back anyone could think of improving the Ease of Doing Business rankings or think that India would attract more FDI than China or that India would emerge as one of the fastest growing major economy with one of the biggest startup ecosystems in the world. To this, he replied that India has achieved all these historical achievements during the last four years of the incumbent NDA government.

Lashing out at the ruling parties in Kerala for their utter neglect towards the beliefs and culture of the people of Kerala on the Sabarimala Temple issue, Prime Minister Modi asserted that the conduct of Kerala’s LDF government on Sabarimala issue will go down in history as one of the most shameful behaviors by any party or any government. Elaborating his views on the issue, he added, “We knew that the Communists do not respect Indian history, culture and spirituality. But nobody imagined that there would be so much hatred. Our stand on this issue has always been clear and the actions of our party match our words. If there is one party that has been at the forefront of standing with Kerala and its culture, it is the BJP.”

Commenting on the divisive politics of appeasement and vote-bank played by political parties from Kerala, Prime Minister Modi said, “The Left and the Congress make tall claims about respect for gender justice. But their actions are exactly the opposite. The NDA government has been working towards abolishing Triple Talaq, but who is opposing us on this? It is the Congress and the Communists.”

Concluding his wide-ranging address in Kerala, PM Modi applauded the strength and resilience of BJP workers in Kerala, who continue to work selflessly for the people despite such hostility against them by the state’s ruling establishment and said, “The UDF and LDF may laugh at us. To them, I say, do not underestimate the BJP Karyakarta. Your taunts, your sticks and your violence cannot break the morale of the BJP Karyakarta. They should see what happened in Tripura. From zero, we formed a government there. What happened in Tripura, will happen in Kerala.”
